What Affects Your Business?

You may not even be aware of it but your professional energy may be burdened by past business/employment relationships with colleagues, co-workers, bosses, and family where you may harbor old grudges and unresolved issues. Attachments to other people, material things, or the distraction of “social media” in your life can deplete your professional energy. An accumulation of negative energies from your mental, emotional, physical and spiritual field around you and your office environment can become psychically toxic repositories of useless and disruptive energy connections.

A Business Clearing can remove undesirable energy connections between you and other people such as co-workers, employers, and colleagues as well as clear up the energy around your business space that can often become stagnant or even filled with the old paradigm energies of fear, greed, anger and frustrations.

A Business Clearing is beneficial to finally severing ties with the negative relationships from your past that continue to draw on your energy today – disrupting your current relationships. As well, such a clearing can diminish or erase old paradigm energies that are still prohibiting your business activities from moving into a new age of consciousness that is Heart-Centered and Evolving the Planet instead of destroying it.

We all have times in our lives when things impact our energy and sometimes even on a daily basis. When life happens and we get caught up in it, our fears tend to get triggered and we may not even realize it and we go on autopilot where we are reacting to life instead of responding with consciousness more related to a new age. Once we go on autopilot we don’t have any control over our reactions and this will trigger our fears. Although we are never in complete control of everything that seems to happen around us we can be in charge of our responses – except when they are automatic responses – meaning we need to be present and aware of our energy and our fears. We need to make a choice to not let our fears over take our life. However it isn’t always easy to see how our energy – or the energy of others – is creating more fear in our lives and our work. Sometimes we don’t realize what is happening until we sit in reflection and examine what has been going on in our lives. If we learn how to keep our energy clear we wouldn’t get slammed nor react to life: we would respond with fuller consciousness. We would know when life is happening and determine whether it is our own energy or the energy of another that is impacting us. Therefore we can make different conscious choices on what the next move is to make us feel better.
A clearing, a business clearing even, allows us to start anew and change the old cords, patterns, and stories that have become outdated from our childhood so that we can truly rebuild our foundations and create stronger, more conscious ones.

Such a clearing can uncover how your limiting beliefs/habits/stories are holding you back and keeping you stuck. Reviewing these go a long way in understanding how you cope with life. Becoming aware of your reactions and responses to others helps you determine what responsibility you have – or are sharing – with your energy: are you blaming others, making judgments, or needing to be ‘right’ to satisfy your ego? Are your emotions hijacking you? What are your stress triggers? There are so many questions that will help you understand what is influencing your energy. Once you determine what is influencing you your consciousness will assist you in becoming even more aware how you are coping and what is affecting your energy. However, if you are always shifting the responsibility to something outside of you, please know that this is your Ego and you are being misled: you need to accept responsibility for your life and energy. Everything always comes from within you.

Have you ever walked into a room and felt like something was wrong? Perhaps you felt the air was thick, as if you could almost feel an argument that occurred there many hours earlier? Do you sometimes walk into work and it feels ‘off?’ The workplace feels like a place where you start to feel anxious and can’t wait to leave? What about those around you? Do you sense certain people in your work environment are draining your energy? What about the environment of your work, like the financial industry – does it feel positive or is it exhausting due to the economic times?

What does our sensing have to do with our businesses? Our bodies have an energy-field, and this energy-field holds our thoughts, our emotions and our intentions. The movie The Secret explores the Law of Attraction and the effect that our thoughts and beliefs have on our reality. Our energy-field can be quite extensive and extend farther out from our bodies than we realize. Have you ever driven home completely absorbed in your thoughts and experiences? Maybe you’ve been so caught up in your thoughts you aren’t even sure how you got home. This is a perfect example of how we are often living unconsciously. Now think of road rage; we are just driving along, feeling fine, when we get cut off, or are put behind a very slow-moving vehicle. This situation often creates anger and frustration, the sorts of things that aren’t normally part of our everyday activity or emotional state. This is owing to the fact that in a populous city our energy gets mixed with that of others and as we are unconsciously driving around we may enter into a situation or area where road rage occurred moments – or even hours – before. We get caught up in the energy of someone else or in the energy of road rage itself. Consider your work environment: if your work area has many employees it will hold many different energies, emotions and thoughts. We can feel the grief of a friend or colleague when someone has just passed away, or the anger and frustration when someone has been fired or had a spousal fight that morning.

People project their thoughts and emotions at all times so consider how all of our thoughts and emotions have been building up within our work environment. Now let’s take into account our current state of mind and the state of the World. Think about how this energy is being compounded dramatically. We are in a constant state of experiencing the effects of anxiety and fear.

Along with financial considerations, consider how our business environments can hold other negative energies – even negative energies that are related to things that may have been building for quite some time. Everyone who works in your office will impact your energy as we all have ‘things’ going on that impact us individually. Even if you work from a home business you are still influenced by everything occurring outside you and even your home realm. Since we live in a digital age and have access 24/7 to media that is filled with fear and we also have the addiction to social media that reports constantly what people are doing and how they are feeling – our world dictates to us how to feel and our world also influences how we respond at every given moment. Energy that is full of emotion and impacts the way we feel and think can compound even the difficult financial situations that can be part of our business experience and the energy of our emotions can create a lot of anxiety both individually and wherever we work.

We may be contributing to the buildup of negative energy by not being able to let go of our daily stressors so doesn’t it seem important to clear and balance our own energy on a daily basis? People are like sponges. As each sponge can hold only so much water and then reaches a point of saturation, every person can hold only so much of negative energy or thoughts. After the saturation point is reached the excess energy must flow somewhere. Where does the energy go?

What limiting beliefs, habits and stories do you have? Our stories center around our relationships with family, friends, partners, co-workers and/or bosses. We hold certain stuck emotions from our childhood that limit us from creating the life we desire and keep us in our “head” where we choose fear over our hearts and love. Plus most of our thoughts, judgments, behaviors, patterns, beliefs, and values are formed by the age of 7 (!) and as a result we are reacting and creating the same patterns over and over again until we heal them! Are you ready to make some changes? Are you ready to make the conscious changes to Be the best you can be? Are you ready to make the changes needed to positively impact your business life – for your own betterment and, importantly, for the betterment of everyone in your work sphere? Let’s do this! Let’s become aware of how we are responding to the energies in and around us – for our own benefits. This means taking responsibility for it all. And that is part of our evolving planet and what is needed.

Love IS…

Most of our definitions of romantic love are constructs of love dictated to us through the use of media and our experiences from our childhood that defined love. Both of these ‘ideals’ are inaccurate and often have nothing to do with love at all, but are rather a reflection of our needs and wants in a relationship. Which is to say; that ‘love’ is what we feel we need reflected back to us through our significant ‘other’ or from any intimate relationship. We are actually ‘in love’ with an ideal of what we believe we can receive from another.

We tend to search for ‘love’ to be reflected back to us in all the wrong places hoping for our ‘ideal’ and then settling for not being alone. But what are we actually searching for?

We are searching for someone to meet our ‘needs’, our conditional expectations that we have set and we have often come with a list of these needs. Yet the only way we can actually have these needs met would be if we met them ourselves.

We ask for physical descriptions, romantic notions, and worse: we ask for the very things we are lacking within ourselves. An example of this would be after experiencing a long list of men who had commitment phobias we want someone who is committed to us. A worthy goal. However, if we have had a pattern of men (or women) who couldn’t commit to us, it is more likely that we have the commitment issue and our partners are just mirroring it back to us. And why would we do this to ourselves?  It may be that we do not feel safe in relationships and therefore choose men who can’t commit!

However, this doesn’t mean that our mirrors are exact replicas; rather it means if someone lacks commitment we attracted them or requested a ‘soul’ contract so that we can learn something about our Soul’s path. When we don’t learn it, we get more opportunities to open us up to the learning our Soul’s choice for us. It may not be commitment that is our issue. It may be self-confidence or it may be that we are learning to love ourselves and in both of these cases having someone with a commitment phobia would be perfect. And something as ‘big’ as self-confidence or self-love would take life times to learn.

“Our search for love has a motivation that we need to identify and understand so that we know what we are attracting and what our Soul’s purpose is.”

The point I’m making is that our definition of “love” is often based on an unreliable source, whether it is [1] a romantic sentiment created through our media culture that is an imaginary ideal that has no truth or authenticity as it is a fantasy that has nothing to do with love; or [2] our definition comes from our experiences of love, often based on our childhood and the patterns we have been repeating since then.

Love isn’t about meeting our ideals or giving us what we need or believe we need, like more romance, safety, commitment or “characteristics” that we often desire in a mate. Love is our ability to share, to give unconditionally, to accept a person for who they are and to take our needs out of the picture. Love is about the other person. Love is about letting go of all of our fears, beliefs and idiosyncrasies that we often blame ‘others’ for and about taking responsibility for all of who we are so that we can love others as well as ourselves. Love is knowing who we are and expressing this to another. Love is infinite without conditions, judgments, fear or resistance. Love is!

And lastly, our search for love has a motivation that we need to identify and understand so that we know what we are attracting and what our Soul’s purpose is. Our Soul in its infinite wisdom chose this life and all the circumstances that have occurred in our life to assist us to know love. All of our relationships are steering us towards our purpose. As I have said many times, relationships are what help us grow the most on this journey. Since we are moving towards love our relationships are all teaching us something about our purpose. So if we could view all of our relationships as a message instead of failure and look at what they are showing us from a ‘bigger picture’ we would be able to have a glimpse of this purpose.

What is our motivation for desiring a healthy relationship (either new or getting a current one back on track)? What are the fears that motivate us to desire love? What hasn’t worked in the past? And what do we feel we have learned through all of our relationships? These are all messages our Soul has designed to move us towards who we are and for the quest for Love to take us to all the right places.

I invite you to take some time this month and examine your choices and desires towards love. Know that everything is perfect for you to grow towards who you are and to express Love in its infinite wisdom. Love is something you share and give to the world. Find a way to express it and Love will find you!

The Filters of Fear or Love

Last month we discussed “expectations and attachments” and how they impact our enjoyment of life through keeping us stuck in how we respond to situations and people. Through this I shared that we all have filters on how we view the world. We often find it difficult to comprehend how a certain filter, such as the feelings of abandonment, insignificance, not being enough, being unlovable or being unappreciated can impact how an event is perceived in our lives. And the reality is that we all have these filters of fear! Our filters impact how we interpret and view the world. Our filters block us from experiencing the Truth and BEing Open to Love where we would have no filters.

How do these filters come to be? We would have chosen to work through certain patterns, beliefs and fears with our Soul Group prior to coming to this life. Whether you believe in having one life or multiple, we are still connected to the larger consciousness system or Source or the Universe or God in a way that our Spirit is connected to a higher power. This allows us to have a support system – our Soul Group – that works with us to grow our consciousness or evolve our spirit. To do this we offer to work with individuals who will assist us to grow and evolve. We choose a certain view on the world as part of this growth process. This view is how we see the world. That is why when things happen we often default towards a certain belief. The default positions are the  filters that are prevalent throughout our lives and we may not even be conscious of how these filters impact our lives.

Let’s look at how our filters work. Since it is something I have worked with most of my life I can offer ‘abandonment’ as an example. When your core filter is around abandonment it makes you see abandonment in most areas of your life. When a friend, family or situation happens we often view it through this filter. We see a break-up as abandonment, someone upset or angry as abandonment, someone passing away as abandonment, financial difficulties as abandonment, job challenges as abandonment – do you see how ubiquitous it can become? When we are in a relationship we filter everything that happens as abandonment and this fear changes the relationship. The problem is that our partner will have a whole other filter with which they see the world. And each person believes what they see to be the truth: that their perceptions are what they are seeing in reality. However, they are seeing the world through a filter or even several filters.

When we get in an argument or altercation with another person we argue because we believe we are ‘right’. Yet there is no clear definition of what is right and wrong when you have a filter perceiving each event and person. The filter in itself is skewing the result or perception. Yet we will get angry fighting our perspective and have no idea that our filter is even engaged. The fight no longer has to do with what is going on but rather on what the other person is doing to trigger our ‘abandonment’ filter.
What can we do? First we need to establish what our filters and triggers are. How does our filter skew how we see the world? How prevalent is this filter in our life? How conscious are we? Then it would benefit us to be as conscious of our emotions or feelings at all times. The reason being that if we are anything other than happy then we are allowing our filters of fear to interfere with our wellbeing!

On the other hand, Love can change the nature of our filters… When we give Love we open ourselves to viewing and perceiving the world differently. Love is a fascinating topic; it is the only true energy that exists. When we let go of our fears, Love prevails! It also can change our perceptions – we can clearly understand when we are not in Love and it allows us to make a choice – how would we rather BE? Love isn’t the emotion that we believe it is. Love just IS! It is the absence of fear. It resonates from our Divine Spark that connects us to our Source. It is the only energy that exists. That is why when we have fears around money, the energy of money can be restrictive. It is because our filter of fear continues to create our perceptions and this will influence how we view money and restrict the flow of energy – in this case ‘money’ or ‘money energy’. When we remember that everything is energy and energy is Love – then there are no restrictions – everything will flow.

When we are conscious of our thoughts, feelings and emotions then we can make a choice – do you want to experience the world through your fears or through Love? We can BEcome present and aware each moment we are expressing through our filters of fear and being present and aware means we can then choose to Open to the flow of Love instead. Love flows effortlessly. Fears change how we see the world. Obviously we would all prefer to have life flow without restriction and the only way this can occur is by remembering that we are in charge of how we respond to situations and people. When we feel ourselves in a perpetual loop of our underlying filter of fear we know we are restricted and not seeing the world clearly. On the other hand, if we can feel this loop we can make another choice. The brilliance of life is that we can always make another choice. I choose to BE aware of the filters that focus on the fears that I have chosen to work through in this life. I choose to hold space by opening up to the Flow of Love that is ever present, at all times. I choose Love.

Expectations and Attachments

We have all heard that we have Infinite Possibilities available to us as long as we can let go of expectations and are unattached to the outcome. Have you ever created a perfect moment? Have you ever connected to your Bliss where the Universe can’t help but reward you with feeling Love and Joy?

We sometimes connect to the Flow of the Universe and feel Love and Accepted but what about those times when we are really attached to an outcome like when a bill comes that we weren’t expecting and we can’t pay it? What about those times when we have expectations on how a day will unfold because of how days like this have unfolded in the past? Like on Thanksgiving with our family – those who have good experiences with their family expect a fun day – those who expect lots of petty fights and arguments to break out often have our fears reinforced and what’s worse is we feel we are not enough. And lastly, what about those times when we are absolutely confident that we were treated poorly, were a victim or hurt by someone we love because of how we interpreted their actions or words?

Expectations and Attachments create so much harm to us and we often aren’t even aware of it happening. We tend to create expectations and attachments quickly and easily. It is similar to our judgments; we do it so quickly we don’t realize we have done it. And before we know it we are sliding down a slippery slope into stress and dis-ease. Why do expectations and attachments cause stress and dis-ease? Because our ego wants to be in control and when we aren’t in control we start to look for things we can do that will correct this and … down the spiral we go. The problem of course is we can never be in control – we can only BE in charge of how we respond – and that can only occur if we are in the moment and conscious.

Most of our expectations and attachments are unconscious; coming from our past experiences which, because of our expectations and attachments tend to repeat experiences in our present – and sometimes those repeat experiences are not the ones we really want . The only way to change this to allow us more opportunity to experience more of those perfect moments is for us to become more aware of ourselves and of what is happening around us. We have to BEcome more conscious of our everyday lives – our thoughts, our beliefs, our fears – and the reasons why we react to situations or people within our environment the way we do.

The question is what are your fears? What fear continues to push you to create these expectations and attachments? What are you striving to prove to yourself? Is it just the Ego that wants your expectations and attachments met?

Often we seek validation outside of ourselves and this comes from not feeling valued or enough within our lives. We also are unconsciously setting up situations that prove to us our fears. These expectations prove to us that we are not good enough or valued by society and then we compare ourselves and believe that everyone else is good enough. Our fears push us to perceive the world through our filters that come from our fears that create outcomes that reinforce why we fear things in the first place. It is a never-ending cycle that has to be stopped – this can only be done by understanding what our fears are.

When we have expectations about our attachments to outcomes over which we have no control – and we know it – and those situations are ones that we don’t like (even though we have created them unconsciously) we tend to be fearful of what we have created or what we are creating and to think that it is our own expectations to outcomes and our own attachments to outcomes we do not like that trigger this whole cycle. If we could just understand our fears we could at least have more opportunities to be in those moments that we can only describe as ‘perfect moments’. And how do we let go of our fears? How can we accept the pathway to perfect moments?

We can let go of the expectation that we need to be validated by something outside of us – to see ourselves as we are – only each of us can see ourselves for who we are! We tend to look outside ourselves for validation that we are okay. We hope that – expect that – we are lovable and accepted for who we are based on whether we are validated by those around us. It’s like we all still seek our parents’ approval for who we are.

The problem is: most of us did not receive our parents approval – at least not in every situation – and that is most likely because our parents didn’t receive the approval they were looking for. This will set up the expectations that continue to make us feel unloved, under-valued and unaccepted in some way. The expectation that someone else has to validate us on almost a continuous basis – takes us into a spiral that can never be sustained. We become attached to seeking approval outside of ourselves – when what we really need is to find love and acceptance within ourselves. We will always find faults when we look outside ourselves for validation; plus we will – or perhaps more correctly our “ego” will – search for ways to show us we can never measure up. We feed our fears by trying to prove we aren’t loved and accepted for who we are!

How do we get out of this spiral? We first need to BEcome more conscious of what is happening around us. And that isn’t about what is happening outside of us but rather what our reactions and responses are within us. Recognize our deepest fear and how that fear often creates more fear. Notice when we are seeking approval outside ourselves and find a way to connect inside to our Blissful Essence that is Infinite. Then make different choices. The one thing we are in charge of is our choices. We can choose to do the same thing over and over and hope we have a different outcome (definition of ‘insanity’) or we can choose small shifts that will allow us to let go of our expectations and attachments.

I choose to BEcome aware of the Divine BEing that I am. I choose to know that everything happens for a reason and that I am where I am because of the choices I have made. This empowers me to make different choices! It empowers me to KNOW that I am Divinely Perfect and no matter what has happened in the past it doesn’t define who I am now. I choose to lovingly take steps to embrace the Divine within. What choices do you make?

Feelings vs Emotions

This month my inspiration came from Emmanuel Dagher’s Club Miracles healing call – where he discussed the difference between Emotions and Feelings. I found it fascinating: he sees our emotions as something we have judged as either good or bad – where our feelings are from a state of BEing and are not identified or judged as either good or bad, they just are. Emmanuel’s definition goes against the traditional definitions of emotions and feelings. Which made me wonder about whether we tend to judge most of our emotions through our past experiences and if there is a way to come from a place of BEing when it comes to our feelings?

When thinking about our feelings and whether we are in a state of BEing instead of unconsciously judging ourselves – it is easy to see how emotions can cloud our judgment. I believe our experiences have been interpreted through our lenses of our beliefs and we create judgments around these experiences and labels that have told us whether something is good or bad. We often unconsciously experience through our emotions and we have decided whether it is a good or bad experience based on the emotion we believed we received from the event. However, this is where we can learn a lot about ourselves. If something gives us Joy does it actually come from a judgment? We may experience Joy – or our interpretation of Joy – when we believe we are superior to someone or something else – but could that be True Joy? Or can we in be in charge and responsible for how we respond in each moment – can we choose to BE happy, or how we want to respond, even if something is appearing to be happening around us like every piece of equipment breaking down – and just BE?

To me these are fascinating questions, maybe not so much for the expression of Joy, as this has been judged as a ‘good’ thing;  but what about the more negative emotions? What about when we seem to automatically get road rage or when something that we have judged as going wrong leaves us feeling frustrated, angry, confused or rather –  a state of fear? It would appear that we are not in charge of how we respond. We seem to automatically judge situations and then our judgments condition us to experience the situations as we have previously judged them. Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could just BE in the moment and not emotionally react to the situations around us – such as when something isn’t working or we aren’t receiving the service we expect? Or are these just my unconscious reactions? If we could let go of all the fears associated with our beliefs – all the negative emotions that we have judged as bad or wrong – wouldn’t that open us up to having new experiences in the Now Moment where we can just feel out what is happening without the judgment?

Judgment is the one thing that can limit our experiences. Not only do we judge our experience through our emotion – such as ‘frustration’ – but then we also will judge the frustration based on other times we have experienced it. This doesn’t allow us to fully BE in the moment and also continues our BEing unconscious as our judgment tells us how it compares to other similar experiences. So, when we have someone on the phone who isn’t listening to us – we may overreact and not only ruin their day but also our own – when our judgment was all based on a misunderstanding because we fell into a judgment  pattern. Depending on how deep the emotion is – our judgment of the emotion may unconsciously create more angst or charge than the situation called for. It is only when we are BEing in the Now Moment that we can give someone the space to communicate and express who they are without our pre-judging them and just allowing it to be a New Experience where we are allowed to Grow and Evolve.

If we are open to Feeling and committed to BEing in the Now Moment – then we have an opportunity to allow the moment to unfold – instead of finding just another way to allow it to not fully be experienced and also judged. If it can unfold naturally – without the judgment – we could ‘let go’ of many of the beliefs that we hold onto. We can’t ‘grow-up’ if we are still unconscious and it is hard to enJOY life when we respond unconsciously to people and situations around us.

Judgments are what create so many problems within our world. Not only because judgment limits our experiences but also because it creates an ‘ego’ altercation that makes us feel we can judge and also make ourself ‘better’ then someone else when we believe we are seeing the situation as black and white or good and bad. Whenever our ego takes over – through judging a situation – we step into linear time of past and future. We unconsciously see the world through our experiences and emotions. We may feel proud, angry or any other emotion but we won’t be able to shift it or be in charge of how we respond and react. We will be caught up in some situation that has been pre-judged and therefore unable to allow new experiences to be created.

So, I invite you to BEcome aware of the emotions that you are expressing. Find a way to Feel those emotions, it’s okay to do that, but without falling into the judgments we have identified – or not yet identified – as patterns within our experiences. BE Open to how you are actually feeling in any given moment and BE authentic and express it – but without judgment. You choose how you want to actually BE in each moment. When you are present – you can make a decision on whether you want to continue expressing unconsciously or whether you want to create new experiences based on your intentions to BE and Feel each moment as it is.

And as we intend each moment to be perfect for us – let’s Honor each moment and allow each of our moments to BE chosen by us in the way we want to respond to Life. Then the Magic will unfold and we will begin to choose Love and other positive emotions over fear and other negative emotions. We will BE present with our Feelings – the ones we have chosen.

Heart-Conscious Intentions

I read something this past week that peaked my interest and had me considering once again what we truly want and whether what we want is beneficial for us or if what we want is what we think we ‘should’ be doing. And what if how things worked in the past is no longer how anything works now? For example: what if the teachings of the Law of Attraction could work a lot better if some of the rules were tweaked?

I have been talking for years about how we need to focus on BEing instead of doing and that it isn’t the outcome of our doing that we necessarily consider as our goal but rather our ‘BEingness’ – but this week I came across a teaching that really hit it home as it encouraged me to contemplate what motivates us. When we focus on the outcome we are always searching for the results we intend. We are disappointed when we don’t get the results and this disappointment could completely spiral us out of the direction the Universe has been guiding us toward!

For years I have spoken about focusing on how we want to feel instead of a goal. And many spiritual teachers suggest that it is the journey not the destination. When we focus on how we want to feel – happy, loving, compassionate – we shift our focus to something that we can control or are in charge of: Ourselves and how we want to BE! And as we control the experience of our feelings in the journey we can enJOY the journey and, again, how we feel is something we are in charge of.

The spark this week was to focus on Love and Acceptance of what we are desiring most. This would fit in with our motivation – to take our goal, say ‘vitality’ or ‘health’ and shift the focus to desiring it because we Love Vitality or we are in full Love and Acceptance of a Vital Healthy body. Or in the case of desiring to make more money – it would be because we Love and Accept the work we do completely.

It isn’t lost on me that my ‘goal’ since 2017 is to have Love and Acceptance. My mantra has been: “I choose to step Easily and Graciously into Radiating Unconditional LOVE and ACCEPTANCE while acknowledging the DIVINE within everything.” And I have also included the mantra: “I am making Choices that lead to the Highest VIBRANT HEALTH offering greater Opportunities for Freedom, Energy and Peace.” With this new inspiration appearing this week I believe that my exuberance for creating Love and Acceptance – as a part of my Being – can motivate me to bring Gratitude into my other desires. Gratitude opens our Hearts and shifts our vibration to higher states so that we can enjoy a Heart-Centered Life experience.

When we focus on Love and Acceptance we allow Gratitude into why we are desiring these shifts. We move away from a ‘goal oriented’ ambition towards a Heart-Centered Life Intention. We can take any goal that we want and turn it into a new way of BEing. Using Love and Acceptance we can allow Gratitude to enter into our Life Mission. Take any goal and examine why you want it and how it would benefit your life. Most of our top resolutions tend to be around health, whether it is an addiction like smoking or drinking (or sugar) to eating better or becoming more fit and even bringing balance into our lives. These all can be shifted towards what you would be most grateful for – using more Love and Acceptance. Health, Vitality, Joy, Abundance, Compassion – turn your goals into Heart-Centered Life Intentions.

When we focus on our goals as an end target or destination we only feel better once they are achieved. This limits and restricts how we feel during the process. We are always establishing – or worse judging –our self-worth from whether we are on target. We are constantly determining whether we are achieving these goals and therefore when we examine where we are compared to where we want to be – we bring fear into the equation through seeing where we aren’t or due to our expectations not being met. Once fear is brought up – because we haven’t seen any changes or our time schedule hasn’t been met or we back-slid on a promise to ourselves – we reprimand ourselves, judge ourselves and lose Self-Worth – if not a little Self-Respect.

So, what can we do to change a goal or outcome towards our Motivation of Love and Acceptance? Let’s look at what we are Grateful for when we consider our desires. What do we Love about what we are Wishing for? Where can we find Acceptance as a Life Intention?

It is always about perception. There is nothing wrong with having a goal – it is how we look at that goal that may be the problem. It is whether we can shift our motivation and intentions with respect to the goals that we set. It is whether we continue to add to our Story of unworthiness, abandonment and separation or inspire ourselves to be in charge of how we want to feel or BE within our Heart-Centered Intention.

Discover what motivates you – is it through looking at what doesn’t work or by Loving and Accepting that your Inner Core is already Perfect and you are aligning with Who you Are? Are you Grateful that you are taking steps to align with your Health and Vitality – and Love and Accept yourself for every Miracle along the way? Can you Open yourself to the Magic that focusing on what you are Grateful for can bring you? Can you re-word or re-express your goals so that the focus is on how you want to feel or BE? Joy, Compassion, Exuberance, Passion and Love. Sometimes it has to begin with Being Open or Willing to see things differently and perhaps even adjusting our mantra to include “I am Willing to… or I am Being Open to the Possibility of…“

Words are important but it is the feeling behind our words that give us the motivation and energy to create Heart-Centered Intentions. Goals are just words and if we focus on how they aren’t working or what we don’t like within these goals then we are going against the flow and making life challenging. Sometimes we need challenges to motivate us so here and now I invite you to consider empowering your goals in a whole new way. Use the Unlimited Power of your feelings – how you want to BE – to inspire yourself to create Motivational Intentions with Love, Acceptance and Gratitude.
